Good quality career guidance is essential to prepare young people for the opportunities and responsibilities of working life, and to enable them to make informed decisions about their future. In 2013, Gatsby commissioned Sir John Holman to research practical measures which could improve the provision of career guidance in England. Gatsby’s Good Career Guidance benchmarks are the result.
